Real Problems Require Real Solutions

We Must Work Together

You and I agree that today’s Delaware–including the 6th Representative District–is not the same Delaware as 5, 10, or 20 years ago. In fact, we’re hurtling toward a point of no return when it comes to protecting our citizens, preventing crime, educating our students, and holding elected officials accountable

With your help, I will go to Dover and work with all lawmakers–regardless of political affiliation–to lead change that will benefit all of us.

Delaware Can Be Better

Begin by Addressing Key Issues

Mike Krawczuk Key Issues

Too many politicians win elections and have no solid plans for when they enter office. I believe that with proper planning focusing on the key issues of public safety, improved education, and representative accessibility, we–the residents of the 6th District and I–will collectively establish the foundation for a successful, long-lasting relationship.

Unfortunately, many residents of Delaware’s 6th Representative District have seemingly been forgotten over the past several years, and communication with elected officials has been minimal. I aim to change that by representing the real views of our district, pointing out real problems, and finding real solutions.

Public Safety

It's time we recognize the importance of law enforcement in the protection of our community and the safety of our children and teachers in an environment where crime is on the rise. Delaware needs to increase funding and training for our law enforcement agencies so they can apprehend and convict those who traffic illegal drugs and commit violent crimes. We need a task force of federal, state, and local agencies to work together to get--and keep--criminals off the street.

Improved Education

Parents and teachers must work together so our children can receive a top-notch education. It's time that we refocus on basic skills so that our high school graduates have the reading and math aptitude to be effective in the workforce, in college, or as entrepreneurs. In our school district and across that state, the Delaware Department of Education annual Report Card has graded the education system as a failure. This has to change. We need to continue to promote vocational education as an option for students who do not want to attend college.

Representative Accessibility

For far too long, public officials have not been accessible to our community, regardless of their duty to represent the people of their districts, no matter how simple or complex the issues may be. It is incredibly important that our public officials have an open-door policy to the community so they know the local issues and so they can be effective legislators in Dover. It's time to focus on the real issues, and when elected, I expect the people of our district to reach out to me so that we can propel our district and state forward.

Be Sure to Vote on November 5!
